Forced to flee from Syria in 2013 after his house was bombarded, Ali Alzein has taken refuge in Hammersmith. In this touching film, he shares with H&F Circles why, as a refugee, he identifies with the sheer struggle that the bees populations go through, and how mastering the art of beekeeping is helping him to overcome his trauma. Ali is now on a mission to introduce beekeeping to some schools and various communities in our borough, as well as to the most vulnerable refugees around the world.
